President: The stronger and more professional our army is the sooner peace will come to our land

President Petro Poroshenko during a speech at the All-Ukrainian August Conference of Educators "New Ukrainian School: Start of the Reform, Participation of the Communities" invited Ukrainians to come to the parade in honor of the 27th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and support the servicemen of the Armed Forces who will march on this day at the main street of the capital.

"I want to take this opportunity and invite all the residents of Kyiv to the parade on the occasion of the anniversary of our Independence on Khreshchatyk on August 24. And those who watch us on TV, be sure to watch this parade on TV," Petro Poroshenko addressed Ukrainians.

We all understand that the stronger, more professional and patriotic our army is the sooner peace will come to our land,” the President emphasized.

According to the Head of State, everybody sees cardinal difference that have occurred with the country and with the army: "And they are changing step by step, day after day".

"We made our choice in favor of the freedom and dignity of each person. And now, with you, we are not just learning, but already implementing, filling this choice with real meaning," the Head of State said.

The President stresses that Ukraine has already demonstrated to the whole world that it has an army capable of stopping the aggressor.
